Ring size
If you are unsure of the ring size, the best option is to go to your local jewellery shop and get them to measure your size.
Alternatively you can measure the inside across diameter (not including metal) in mm of a few rings that fit well. Select 'I don't know the size' and add the measurement in the notes at checkout. I will be able to convert that to an approximate ring size.
If you live local to the Mornington Peninsula, feel free to contact me here to arrange a time to come in and I can measure your size.
If the ring is is a gift and you would like to make an educated guess on the size, here is a rough guide for females:
Small: J-M
Medium: N-P
Large: Q-T
Please note, not all online ring measuring guides are accurate so best to do one of the above options.
I use the standard Australian/British ring sizing guide which is indicated by a letter. If you know your size in numbers, there are some ring conversion charts online or I can help you do this.
If you wish to order a size and a half please add this in the note section at checkout.
Care information
When treated with the same care with which it was made, your handmade piece should last you a lifetime!
Due to the texture on the surface of most of the pieces, overtime it can tarnish due to heat, water, sweat, sunscreen etc. Lots of people don’t mind the appearance of jewellery that is a little tarnished, however if you’re someone who likes your jewellery to be clean and sparkly here are some tips:
- Buff the piece with a jewellery polishing cloth (available at most supermarkets and jewellery stores)
- Use a small amount of ‘Brasso’ or ‘Silvo’ on a soft rag and give the jewellery a good rub.
- Boil your jewellery in a saucepan with some scrunched up aluminium foil and 1 tablespoon of bi-carb soda. Boil for a few minutes and see the foil attract all the dirt and grime from your silver!
Still can't get your pieces clean and shiny?
