About Kate Macindoe
Kate Macindoe, a Mornington Peninsula silversmith, has spent her life by the beach collecting sea treasures.
Studying Visual Art at Monash University, majoring in Metals and Jewellery, allowed her to learn to transfer her love for nature and the ocean and express this through her pieces. Kate spends a lot of her free time outdoors hiking, snorkelling and free diving searching for new objects to work with and share with other lovers of the sea.
Kate is passionate about caring for the environment and living sustainably. She values the slow hand made process of her work and uses sustainable and ethically sourced stones and materials.
